Welcome to our gathering at the Community Space in Guelmim, Morocco. Join us with a group of experts in the field of software and artificial intelligence.
When attempting to define artificial intelligence, we often feel the need to first define intelligence itself, but defining intelligence is a challenging task in its own right. To navigate this challenge, we will adopt a definition of intelligence that most of us can agree on: the ability to process information to solve complex problems and achieve a specific goal. We add the term “artificial” to intelligence when we engage in this activity using electronic devices or computers.

Although discussions about artificial intelligence began in the 1940s in several scientific articles, we have awaited the emergence of applications such as GPT-4 and Midjourney to raise questions:

• What is the difference between human intelligence and artificial intelligence ?
• What is the impact of its applications on our social lives ?
• Is it truly a threat to our jobs and the nature of human work as we know it ?
• How can we leverage it for our benefit as individuals, organizations, and especially as entrepreneurs ?
• How can we specialize in this field? What educational paths are available for studying and working in the field of artificial intelligence ?
