The Center for Guidance, a program of the International Journalists’ Network, organized a two-day training for media initiative pioneers from North Africa and the Middle East. The Youth Issues Platform, Dialogue for Democracy, was among the eight initiatives selected by the Center to represent Morocco as the sole representative at this event. Sessions held before the start of the 16th Arij Forum, themed “Cross-Border Collaboration in a Divided World,” in Amman, Jordan, included:
- Introduction to the International Center for Journalists and the International Journalists’ Network.
- Guidance on successful and cross-border management.
- Revenue models for startups.
- How to write proposals for donors.
- Solutions journalism: principles and experiences from the Middle East.
- Virtual reality techniques and storytelling.
- Sustainability of media initiatives : challenges and solutions in the Middle East.
- Audience research and engagement.
- Innovative video production and editing.
- Content distribution on social media.
- Data journalism and business models supporting the sustainability of startups.
- Investigative journalism and artificial intelligence.
